Leon, beautiful city, shame about the spiders in the bed
Leon is such a nice city, i am so glad we decided to come here. We did kop out and take the shuttle instead of the chicken bus, but at 7quid each that was cheap, so we took it up. It took just over 2hours to get here, the hostel we are staying at is brand new and so the poor guy driving the shuttle bus had to ask four random ppl where the hostel was lol. There are only a few ppl here, and so its really nice at the moment, i think it gets too much when you get too many loud types under one roof, esp when it is at every single hostel we have stayed at, you want a bit of quiet and relaxation.
We did have some trouble last night, what with a invasion of Spiders, i dont mind spiders if they are up in a tree, or web far out of the way, but when they walk over your body while you are sleeping, its a whole new matter, and thats what happened last night, and they wasnt small either, they were large spiders. . so i have every right to be pissed off.. i was gonna spray it with my 100%deet but i couldnt find it. Other than that its been great here. We did pass thru Managua, which did look like another San Jose, and the view of the Volcanoes is also amazing from here.
I really like the churches here too, they are not as colourul as the ones in Granada, but they are more errie and gothic.. which i do like, and the Lions which guard them are fabulous.
