Hey Everyone,

So its been a long week here in Xian with so much to do and so much to see. Earlier in the week we got a chance to do some sight seeing and we went down to the bell and drum towers inside the city walls. They were amazing to see. We also took a trip to the muslim quarter where we could find goods for cheap all over the place. I havent baught much of anything yet, but at the same time Ive only been here for a week so far. The locals here so far have been very nice, and every morning when I go for my run to the pagoda and back you see swarms of people outside doing Tai Chi. My volunteer work however has easily been the highlight of this trip. Im working with Kindergartners at a school called Xichi. Everyday when I walk in they stare in aw and wonder and cant wait to learn a new song or the alphabet. There favorite song is the hokey pokey and they love watching me the six foot wonder shake all around in middle of the floor. They treat me like a jungle gym. Every time they get a chance t0o hang on me or hug me, they're all over it. Its been a great time so far. Went to a night club here called 1 +1 last night and it was ok. Nothing to get to excited about. Did an english group with some locals the other night and they invited me out to go play basketball with them at their university. It was great, they all wanted to play against a westerner. It was truley a blast. Going on a contryside hike today and seeing the terecotta warriors on sunday. Will have more for you guys soon

OK, after reading your entry -- you have to do a video and uplink it here of you teaching the kids to do the Hokey Pokey! That has to be hysterical!! Bring it on Thad. :D
