This weekend we have Ana as our host in Heidelberg Germany. She will show us Heidelberg and in the evening the "Schlossbeleuchtung" and the fireworks. Again we had an amazing time. Someday I will be back in Heidelberg because I touched the mouse at the old bridge! And .... I came back the next year to touch the mice again. This time with a smaller group.

Hit the road for Ana in Heidelberg

Ana, everything Oké ?

I will have an easy trip to Heidelberg. While Alex and Ket are driving to Heidelberg, they just pass my house, so I join them in there car. They were pünktlich 30 minutes to late. J. At my house they both need a smoke! Alex promised himself not to smoke in his car. Next stop is going to be Düsseldorf. At 12am Alex needed some gasoline for his car. We were then already in Düsseldorf. Then we saw a girl washing her car. Ask Ket. We called Lauro that he should wait for us at the “hauptbahnhof”. Heey, we were there before… After a few girls in cars, a little bit STAU L, a nature-stop and another smoke stop we were on time in Heidelberg.

Only Ana was not there. She was picking up Pablo somewhere. Lauro, Ket and Alex checked in, and got there first (free) beer. I could not check in yet, because the room was at Pablo’s name and he was not there. Ket found Brett in the hauptstrasse and a few minutes later there was Ana and Pablo.

Alex got his present J and we are going to the beer garden. Then Guido appeared and at about 8 pm we start walking to the centre of the Altstadt. There we met Elena, a good friend of Ana. Pablo, Guido and me went to the drugstore (NO) and above that we found our rooms. They others were at the Palmbrau Gässe about a 1 minute walk from the hostel were we joined them.

After a few beers and waiting for a table outside we had dinner at 21:30. After paying the of €206,50 we left to go to the old bridge for touching the two mice, and take pictures of the castle by night. At midnight we stayed at a bar outside, but they close the garden because they want to remove the tables and chairs. Strange. We had another Hoepfner beer and decided to go to the hostel. Brett was very tired because of his Jetlag.
