We decided to take the excursion to Gatlinburg, which was a great idea. I had never heard of this Tennessee town, which possibly shows my lack of American knowledge, but I'm glad I was exposed to it. The main reason was for the Hard Rock Cafe, but we found so much more in G-burg and Pidgeon Forge. Much of it we just saw from the car as it took a long time to drive through.

"Wild Woody's" was a favorite, as well as the Upside down House (so cool!!) and hundreds of mini-golf, helicopter rides, dinosaur museums and so much more. It was awesome, we all wanted to stay longer, but the our road trip had planned nights, so we had to drive another 8 1/2 hours to Baltimore.

Another cool aspect: we ended up on Route 66!! How much more of a road trip is that?!
