Planning our trip to Finland
Our first choice for the summer holidays was UK and Scotland, but due to circumstances we had to change our travelling destination to Finland, to visit friends in Espoo and Lahti and visit an art exhibition in Fiskars to see the artwork of another good friend.
My girlfriend and I have already made up our minds to travel by ferry from Grisslhamn-Eckerö, Hummelvik-Torsholma and Ava-Osnäs. We still doubt about whether to travel by ferry from Sassnitz-Trelleborg or Sassnitz-Rönne and Rönne-Ystad, and visit Bornholm for one or two days.
We have at least some five to ten days before we want to arrive in Lahti, Finland. As we are travelling by car, we will have to drive some 300 to 600 km per day (I will, because my girlfriend doesn't have a drivers license).
Our visit to Finland will bring us along Bremen, Hamburg, Lübeck, Rostock, Sassnitz, Trelleborg or Ystad, Kristianstad, Växjö, Linköping, Norrköping, Nyköping, Södertalje, Stockholm, Norrtälje, Grisslhamn, Eckerö, Hummelvik, Torsholma, Ava, Osnäs, Turku, Salo, Fiskars, Espoo, Helsinki and Lahti.
