Victoria to Calgary by WestJet Airlines
June 3, 2008
The morning of our departure from Victoria was cloudy and rainy but we were happy to be off to sunny Saskatchewan. Our WestJet flight was direct from Victoria to Calgary mostly above the clouds but the clouds opened over Kelowna so we could see the new William R. Bennett bridge spanning Okanagan Lake recently officially dedicated. We prefer WestJet Airlines because the airlines staff does their job with courtesy and humour. For example on this leg of the trip our cabin attendant read the safety card instructions in the rhyme & metre of a Dr. Seuss story - needless to say, she had the full attention of the passengers.
