The travel to The Jungle (Madidi National Park)

The Beni river

To enter at the “Jungle” or the correct name “Madidi Park” we chose “Fluvial Tours” a travel agency, as they were prepared to assemble this tour.
Along with a couple of New Zealand, two Spanish and one Dutch (all very good trav buddies), and as in other tours with our guide and our cook the group starting from Rurrenabaque in this time by boat first by the Beni River, passing through a place called “El estrecho del Bala”, and then by the Tuichi River.
The trip upriver takes about three hours and the place is very nice even though it was raining when we started.
When we arrived at our destination, first disembark and then had to walk about fifteen minutes to the camp. In the walk had to walk across a small stream by what we had to remove our trousers and shoes to cross it, but it was very slippery with mud and so I had a fall, like others and I almost wet whole, but this was how to start a new adventure tour.
We arrived wet to the camp where he stayed two nights and three days,  in this camp the couples have double bedrooms which are very rustic, built of wood and thatched roof, the bathroom is common because we are in the middle of the jungle and not there are a lot of comfort, power is picked up by solar panels and the travel agency carry drinking water in jerry cans and all the food that everything is included.

Here as a full jungle there is nothing more to buy.
This tour is adventurous but like the tour to “Las Pampas”, the tour to “The Jungle” (Madidi Park) is a nice walk to a beautiful place that I recommend to all friends who visit Bolivia.

It was raining

The Beni river
