Sausalito is one of my favorite places to visit because my Aunt Mary Lou lives here.  If you haven't heard of Sausalito, CA, that is not surprising. It is located at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge and a short 20 minutes from San Francisco. It is a very picturesque small town overlooking the sea with a marina and harbor and filled with many souvenir shops/art galleries.  In the 10 years I have been coming here, it has never changed...quiet town with nice residents...fairly expensive but worth the visit for a day trip.
