Crystal Beach, Texas....It's not the most beautiful sand but it's quiet

Not much to say about this little trip.  We spent four days / three nights in a little 2-bedroom beach house on the water.  We got a good price on the place because we stayed during the week before school let out here in Texas.

Our girls are little and enjoyed the waves and making sand castles.  We enjoyed cooking our own meals with the fresh shrimp and fish from the local markets.  It's a far cry from the gorgeous beaches of South Padre Island but we also didn't have to put up with crowds or rowdy people. 

***Note*** I was once a rowdy person and have nothing against them.  They just don't always make for the best neighbors on a family vacation.
