...I have yet to update my KL trip, t'was a good thing Erna reminded me coz my brain tends to float around most of the time hahaha!
...
I wish I had more time in my hands… KL in two days was just
not enough for me, there’s so much I want to visit and explore in this Malaysian
Capital. I haven’t even been to the
Batu
Cave. Well, like what I
always say, all the more reason to go back to KL.
I only saw most of the inner city. I had a good photo op at
the Petronas Tower of course where I was just a good
bus trip away from where my cousin lived… and together with my cuz we went up
the KL Menara where you had a good 360 degree view of the city. This is also
where Dyan Castillejo, a sport celebrity host in the Philippines jumped from a bungee
cord.
Bayang Magiliw... handa, awit!
Coming from a really bullocks transport system in Manila; I was really
impressed on how their transport system worked in the City. You only pay 2 Ringgit
to ride the bus all day long; all you have to do is keep your ticket. Rush hour
could be too much of a hassle though, I think I waited on one of the monorails
and 4 trains passed by without me getting in one. I ended up walking to the
next station where I visited one of the mosques.
I saw one of the TBs the following day. I arranged a meet-up
with Erna at a starbucks in Petronas
Tower. It was so
unfortunate that we had to cut our chit-chat since I had a bus to catch at
around 5pm to Singapore.
Maybe next visit, I’d arrange for a one week stay or more in KL.
Note to self though; I need to wear shorts more often when
walking the streets of any SE Asian City.
