i still dont know if i would hitch with alex, ket and jos or with guido - or travel alone. travelling alone is one of my greatest passions. i love sitting in trains, with my mp3 listening to music as the train moves and having a blank look in my face but my mind is filling with different films and voices.  i find it more spiritual when travelling alone and its been a while since i did that. but im still for the moment contemplating - i want to travel alone because i want to feel sad (yes im strange - but that what inspires me to take pics) but yet, it would be a special day - so it would be fun with friends.

a long time ago, a got to know a special friend through tb - weve been chatting until the wee hours of the morning - just getting to know each other and what do we do in germany or simply gossiping (laughs ahaha) and she thought about one day organizing a tb meet up in heidelberg and even though i could not fit it into my schedule - i said yes - egal was noch kommt - schnee, sturm, flut, erbeben oder  katastrophe - ich komm mit!

since moving to germany, i celebrated my birthday 3x already - the first was in 2005 - i got stoned together with the girls living below the house (hahah coz its the first time i had dried baobab) :D after that i still went to morcheeba concert in cologne and looked like a walking zombie (hahaha) the second was - i spent my entire birthday in the airport in düsseldorf - looking for cheap ticket prices going to athens. and after almost 3 hours waiting at the lufthansa counter i got one! well not really cheap but its reasonable and ate orange soup in a friend's small cafe. and in 2007 - i finally finished rayman 3 in xbox!!!! haahahaha and i went to luxembourg city (because at that time its my fav. european city) and ate ice cream!

and this weekend - i will celebrate my 4th birthday in germany! in heidelberg meet up! hahahaahhaaha - *rolls eyes* i cant believe i will be missing alanis morissette's concert for this!

ok, so i figured out - i want to save money - so i decided to hitch with the guys - we started at düsseldorf at about 1 pm because ket's train was late so he says! hahaha. as i know the road to south germany - alex asked me if i can be their "navigator" - i was sleepy because last night i couldnt sleep! hahahhaa - so i directed alex from düsseldorf to cologne - cologne - frankfurt - damstadt - mannheim and finally to heidelberg with a total of 253 kms! so thats 3-4 hours driving depending on the traffic - hahahahah and i fell asleep halfway and the guys are damn complaining that the "navigator" malfunctioned! hahahahahah hahahahah hahahahah hahahaha and i know you kit ket! you were took pictures of me while sleeping! hahahaha

we arrived exactly on time in heidelberg! amazing! because ana is "strict" to be punctual! mami!!! hahahaha but theres one problem - we dont know where to meet :D haha alex nobody knows where the hostel is - so i called ana and asked for directions and the famous pablo (aka fabricciocartone) is already there waiting for us.

so we found the hostel getting a bit lost in heidelberg and i called ana - she said shes gonna be there in  TEN MINUTES BUT THEY ARRIVED THIRTY MINUTES LATER - SPANISH TIME hahah and she said to be punctual! :D

after a while brett joined us and we waited to be checked in at the hostel. while waiting the guys had beers - free beers complimentary of the hostel and were just fooling around AND I PROMISE THE CHIKIN PEOPLE to the take as much pictures of pablo :D hahahahaha AND WE HAVE A GIFT FOR ALEX hahah it was hideous picture of him! hahahaha and he was ashamed to put on that tshirt! hahahaha

COME ON ALEX DONT BE SHY! hahahah

and at the beer garden - someone called me - i dont know his number - but he knows me and after a LONG MOMENT of confusion it was JUAN CARLOS (aka ratu) hahahah hahahah hahahaha muchos gracias amigo for the call we will see each other in madrid! :D

then i had the chance to talk to pablo and goofed around eventhough he speaks  5% english! hahahahhahah we have to go on between ana to translate for him in spanish and for me in german! but he was great guy and i will visit him in spain together with some best tb buds i made in july! :D

then at dinner - we were joined by guido and anas beautiful friend - elena - WHOM KET HAS THE HOTS ALL NIGHT AND EVEN ASKED HER IF SHE CAN GOOD VACUUM hahahahaha hahahahah hahaha hahahah hahahaha haha

we had german dinner because pablo wants to taste the famous BRATKARTOFFELN! hahahah hahahah

then we went to a bar which has a strange closing time - they close the garden at 12 am but the people can remain outside standing - the beer we had was so strong! and the damn ceramic cup was heavy as a slab of stone! hahahaha

it really made us tired and called it a night - and get ready for tomorrow which is a big day.
