Arrived, pleased that our hotel is not as dreadful or bug infested as reports say. Yet another 20 minute shower and turnaround, followed by a 30 minute meal and off to Senor Tango, tango show. Katherine, thankfully, manages to keep her boobs in her slinky number, apparently eased because she had paid so much for her assets. Helena, our lovesick internet addict has to manage without for a night. Melanie declines the lurv of the bus driver although something kept her too occupied to reconfirm our flights. Or was it because Katherine forgot which 5 star hotel she was next booked into?

BA in a day ..... Subjected Jackie and Jean to one of Margaret´s high speed city tours. We beat the crowds and almost everyone to Recoleta the very grand graveyard, home of Evita.

Exhausted after walking miles, we rehydrate......with  a rather potent caipirinha at Palermo. Time is tight so we speed on to lunch in a well recommended restaurant. It is out last meal together so splash out all of 6 pounds on a fine champagne. Just in time for our 4 hour cycle tour, a great way to see around town and sober up. It included the very different areas, street tango and by La Boca Juniors football stadium, best known for the "overweight and old at 45" Maradona. Would not want to lose our way in some of the dodgy neighbourhoods. Seems that shoes hanging from power cables highlight the presence of drug dealers and that the coca leaves we had been chewing, drinking and sucking to beat altitude sickness in Cusco are cocaine related.

Fond and sad farewell to the others. Still stuffed from lunch we wander for ages soaking up the lively atmosphere and venture along to San Telmo´s nightlife.
