The rainbow houses

I chose to drive along the small roads because there was no other possibility in this region of Ireland. There was not that much traffic and the road only randomly passed through a village; most of the time I was driving in green and beautiful countryside. I still had fun driving in the opposite side of the road than that I was used to. In general it was not that difficult and for me it felt very natural very fast.
One of the villages I passed was Dunmanway. There was nothing special about this at first glance, but almost leaving the city I enjoyed the view of a row of houses that were painted in different colours. It was almost like a rainbow so I just had to stop and take some pictures.
At one point the police had blocked the road due to an accident and they guided me in another direction. My GPS brought me back on trail by using some very small country roads and this was great fun as well. I was following roads for tractors and cows I am sure. I really loved it – I just felt sorry for the people that had the accident, but a lot of the cars that passed me drove really fast on these narrow streets.
