Climb the highest peak in Ireland
September 28, 2008
This weekend I with my friend made a short trek to the Wicklow Mountains south of Dublin, there we have climbed mountain called Lugnaquillia. Lugnaquillia is with 925 m the 13rd highest peak in Ireland and the highest peak in Wicklow mountains. This trek was nice but short so for next day we decided try something more difficult - Mountain Carrauntoohil in MacGillycuddy's Reeks area (cca 300 km west by south of Dublin). Altough this mountain is only 1039 m high is it the highest mountain in Ireland. Anyway we enjoyed this trip most cause the nature there is very beautiful...
