What came first?
...The next place on the map I wanted to see was the Pali look out. One of our sales assistance at the Waikele outlet the other day recommended we have a look if we get the chance, so both Mel and I were keen. On the way to the Pali lookout, we stopped at another spot with pretty views where Sunflower hopped out of the car with us to pose for a few photos. The Pali Lookout is halfway between Kailua where we had breakfast and Waikiki, we intended to head north again after leaving the lookout, but I ended up on the road south taking us back to Honolulu with no way to turn around. I can only be thankful that Oahu is as small as it is, because we ended up back in the public holiday traffic of Honolulu and decided it would be quicker to head out of the city to the west and back to the coast road that way. Therefore, our next few stops were the beaches along the west coast of Oahu. These are beautiful beaches and we finally got our feet wet and had a bit of a swim at a couple of these beaches...
