Breakfast at Cinnamon’s
...We found the town of Kailua where the restaurant we had heard about was, and once there asked for directions to ‘Cinnamons’. I had read their pancakes were the best on the island, and I was willing to test this claim. I ordered a house specialty, Guava Chiffon Pancakes, and I am pleased I only ordered two pancakes, because I was full after just two, on the menu, there was also an order of four. There is no way I could eat four of them, I was flat out getting through the two. I can’t tell you if they are the best pancakes on the island, as they were the only ones I tried. :) Mel went for her standard bacon and eggs. I usually like to try either something unique to the place I am in or the house specialty. My Guava Chiffon Pancakes certainly fit the bill. They were delicious, even though they were a little bit sweet even for my taste for breakfast, I still would recommend them. Kona coffee was once again offered to give me my morning coffee fix, and Mel ordered a cinnamon bun to take away with her, but ended up eating it while we were still sitting in the restaurant....
