Another glorious day in Hawaii
I didn’t need to go far for breakfast this morning. The hotel was kind enough to send a complimentary fruit basket to our room the other day with pineapple, apples, paw-paw, grapes and lots of other fresh tropical fruits. I sat on my balcony with my fresh fruit and later a cup of fresh brewed Kona coffee and enjoyed the view on this bright sunny day.
We didn’t do much today. I had booked a hire car for us, as we are driving around the island tomorrow, so we went to pick that up. As Alamo (car rentals) was near the Ala Moana shopping centre, Mel and I decided we would go to Bubba Gump for lunch. Mel had wanted to try it yesterday, but was too focussed on her shopping to stop for lunch. So, we went for lunch and had a little look around at the shops. I bought myself another pair of crocs, but this pair are lined and oh so warm and comfy. (I am wearing them as I speak. :))
As we have a full day planned for tomorrow, I decided to pack most of my things so I wouldn’t need to worry about it tomorrow. Our flight back to Australia is first thing Tuesday morning and I will have no time them. Therefore, a bit of a rest today, both for me in Hawaii and here writing my blog :), and for all of you who have been kind enough to follow my journey. :D
