The long and winding road
June 12, 2008
We started our day in Moab, which is a cute town in southern Utah. Its also about 5 minutes away from Arches National Park, our first stop today. The park is home to 2,000 natural made arches, which we saw only a handful of. We got to climb around the arches (well underneath), which is always fun! Afterwards we continued to drive south towards Arizona, and through Monument Valley (think of the scene in Forest Gump where he is just running through the desert). Beautiful out there...looks like another planet! Pictures are here, and I apologize for the really quick recaps. I am too tired to write more!
