When I was planning my trip at home, my initial plan was to take the boat from Manaus to Belem, which takes 5 days. As I heard people complaining about the trip being so boring, I decided to sell my boat ticket and take a flight to Belem. Except for some historical buildings and the ver-o-peso, a very busy and crowded market, there are not so many charming things in Belem. And as the weather is hot and humid, I decided to move on to São Luiz the day after my arrival.
