Arrival

This is a casual blog of my holiday in Ireland this past summer. I went with some great friends that I rarely get to see anymore and we spent as much time hanging out as touring, but it was well worth it!

Arrival

The hotel ended up right across the Liffey from Temple Bar, Dublin's main tourist spot.  But it was nice to be close to Dame, O'Connell, Grafton and Abbey streets as well as most of the major sights (though Dublin's a fairly small city anyway).  Ireland was great fun to visit.

I agree! We spent the first few days and the last few in Dublin, but I really loved the west. Dublin seemed to have more tourists than natives at times.

Dublin's not only small but compared to other capital European cities, I found it rather boring. There's only so much of drinking one can do! Western Ireland on other hand is FABBO! Esp the Dingle Peninsula and stuff.
