The Big Buddha

Kamakura, Japan is not far from Tokyo and well worth a day trip to see The Big Buddha and a Temple that is within walking distance from the Big Buddha.  If you not sure how to get there just go to a train station (or subway) and ask any young person; you will find out they are very friendly and eager to help you…most of the younger generation speaks English too but also many will take you to the correct train no matter how far away!  I had one person get on the train and take me to where I was going then went back to where they were going (miles away) very friendly culture!

Make sure you pay to go inside of Big Buddha too! Yes it’s cheap.
