Milan to Venice

It turns out that it is not easy to get a train ticket out of Milan on a Friday night. So we had to wait a good while. We did finally get on a train and we arrived in Venice at a bout 10:30.
We had a lot of luggage so we opted for a water taxi. This was quite wonderful in that the water taxi was able to get us right to our door almost. The apartment is cute but the second bedroom is on the ground floor and was a bit stinky and the bed was not so great. Sort of the kids room but it had it's own entrance and it's own bath.
We settled in and I don't remember much more about our arrival.
