When the previous meetup was organized, there were a lot of people who wanted to come but would not be available on that date.
At 7:30pm I arrived at Harry's Esplanade and was shown to our reserved seats which was...the whole area in front of the stage! Winnie and Adrian arrived after a couple of minutes, the early birds as always :) It was nice to see them again. Then a few minutes later, we were approached by a man, who introduced himself as YK, our new TB friend and whose first time to be on a TB meetup. Then another man arrived and introduced himself as Anshu, another new TB and also his first time to attend a TB meetup.
It was then a continuous arrival of people, which was really fun. Anil, who just learned about the meetup a few hours before, is another first timer in a meetup. Then Peppy arrived with her two friends, Sekar and Kika. Then there was Brigid then followed by Shuyi and Najiah, then Gill. Then Reychel arrived with new TBs Shylla and RH (i forgot RH's tb name). It was also nice to see Jamie again. Mike also graced us with his presence after his very long work hours :P At 10pm the band started to play but it did not hinder us to mingle around, talk and get to know each other.
Peppy and her friends had to leave at half past 10 though so we bade her goodbye, but not before having our mandatory class picture.
By midnight, we were still in spirits and more, we wanted to go dancing. So we went to China One bar in Clarke quay, where Omar joined us too. We enjoyed until the wee hours of the morning, drinking and dancing and laughing, chatting and (human pole) dancing and drinking and drinking... :P By 3 in the morning, we called it a night. Although, it seems that for Mark, a meetup would always have to end at McDonald's. And so, for a couple more hours, Winnie, Reychel and I amusingly watched Mark beam with happiness while he ate his Big Mac and fries.
Ah yes, it was another fantastic meetup night. I am quite amazed at how big the Singapore meetups are becoming. One thing is consistent though, regardless of the count of attendees, the fun is always there. I am so much looking forward to more of our upcoming meetups! :)
PS: The pictures in my camera are quite the wholesome ones, which means...hehehe :P
