Our tour then led us to the old town area where we were shown the Golden Roof and the outsides of some buildings and finally a chuch. The painting of Jesus and Mary at the center behind the alter is supposedly the most copied Jesus and Mary in the world.
The next morning we would fly back home. So as it was our last day in Europe we strolled around just enjoying the archetecture and of course had a nice lunch. It was the first time we found French onion soup on a menu which we thought was rather odd. I made sure to have hot chocolate as I have yet to have a half way decent cup of it in the states. Next time I come to Europe I really want to spend my time in Salzburg and maybe Munich. I really liked all the Germanic areas I saw (or perhaps its really Bavarian) though it is possible my British friend will kill me if I dont make it to England! Ah well we'll see!!!
