Whether you know of Israel as the birthplace of Christ, the Jewish Promised Land or a war torn country, it certainly has a birthday that grips you the moment you step off the plane thanks to the lovely people whether Palestinian or Israeli, I made friends with both

Tiberias & Walking On The Sea Of Galilee

Tiberias is a city on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, the infamous site where Jesus walked on water, where he multiplied the loaves and fish and so so much more. I spent my time here with Franck and also with Shoshana and her lovely family. They thought me the joys of eating wtih Jewish people. Plenty of ice cream and fruit smoothies followed. The girls even let me help out with a few Shabbath which was pretty cool. I took a bike ride around the lake to sea of the important sites that Christ visited but unfortunately the heat hi over 50 celsius very quickly and halted things very quickly, luckily there was a water park to cool down in.

The plan was to walk out and catch some but I found it far easier to let the local fishermen do their thing and get it from one of the restaurants there
