We made our way back to the East coast of Ireland and stayed in a little village called Rathdrum in County Wicklow.  This morning we zipped down to Avoca, which was actually a rather surreal experience - it's the village where the TV show Ballykissangel was filmed, and as soon as we started driving over the bridge (before we could really see anything at all) I was like "oh my gosh, I recognise it!!"

It really does look exactly like it did on TV & it was just exciting to be there (coz I absolutely loved Ballyk).  We stopped at the Avoca Handweavers, where they really do weave all these amazing things by hand, and then we did a little photo shoot through the village - the pub, the store, the school, the church...

Sadly we had to rush away and zoom back to Dublin.  Even with all the roadworks (they're everywhere in Ireland) we made it back to the airport in perfect time (and then our flight was delayed about an hour anyway).  And so our Irish experience comes to an end and it's back to London with just enough time for me to re-pack all my stuff and head back to the USA...
