Emmen - Dalfsen (69,4 km)

At about 9.30 we climbed on our bike and took off in the direction of Zwolle.

We didn't have a day to day plan. We only knew we had to go from Assen (my home town) in the north to Voorschoten (my friends home town) in the west. We also wanted to go to the Efteling (an amusement park). So this day we decided to cycle in the direction of Zwolle and from there to cycle south wards.

After 7 hours on the bike we arrived in Dalfsen, a place near Zwolle. We decided 7 hours was long enough, as we had to buy some groceries, put up the tent and cook! I must say, our first cooking wasn't to bad. Maybe it helped we both were scouts once.
