champaign?! yes! That was part of the breakfast buffet!!!

We didn’t have any plan for today. The only thing we knew was that we wanted to do some shopping (what a surprise!). Well, we were in Argentina, so visit a leather factory was a MUST. After having breakfast - actually I didn't eat much, I was still full and felt a bit guilty about the idea of keeping on eating after the big meal the night before - I checked the pamphlets at the lobby of the hotel. There was one from a letter factory, which has a showroom. They offered free transfer, because they were located in Avellaneda, which is also part of Buenos Aires. Oh! First I should explain that Buenos Aires City is the Distrito Federal, and also belongs to BA Province which is bigger and has other cities like Avellaneda.

The guy at the lobby called them and the transfer was in the neighborhood, so after 7 min they were there for us :). During the ride we could notice how the scenery was changing. Avellaneda is more an industrial area. So, no more tall buildings with nice parks. They were replaced by smaller houses and factories. In our way we saw the Independiente’s Stadium. The local soccer team. There were a lot of things at that place, but I have to be honest the models of shoes weren’t so nice and the only one I liked wasn’t available in my size and the one my mom liked wasn’t available in the color she was looking for. Wow! This place was pretty popular, groups of people were coming, most of them tourists who bought almost everything he could find. Anyway we got some gloves and belts. Presents for family ;)

It was fast, by 10am we were done and ready to keep on moving. The people from the store called the transfer and a couple of minutes later, it was waiting for us.
