Quiet evening on the beach....
After we got off the boat, we grabbed a quick bite and were off to check out beachhouses since the purpose of the trip was to locate a beachhouse for Carnival Camp 2009. Yeah, beahchouses in Tobago go VERY quickly! Anyway, after going to a few places, I stopped at a private beach in Arnos Vale, just in time for my favorite part of the day...sunset. I could've stayed there all evening...sigh ;)
One thing i learned on the way to that beach was that in Tobago, time is calculated differently. So we were told that the Arnos Vale beach was only "5 minutes" walking distance from where we were. I took that with a pinch of salt and the group decided to drive to the beach instead of walk. Thank God!!!!!!! After DRIVING for approximately fifteen...yes 15 minutes....we finally got to the "5-minute away beach". All I could do was laugh. ;)))
On the way back to our guesthouse we spotted another nice beach. I was longing to get in the water since we hadnt done so as yet...so although i don't normally sea bathe at night (for fear of sea creatures lol), I couldnt resist getting in the water....which was nice, warm, calm....ahhh. Needless to say, I was still wondering what sea creatures were prowling around my feet in the darkness. But I was brave lololol....;)
