One time when we went up to Utah we stayed at my parents friends place which he had dubbed "Margaritaville". It was located on the far outskirts of Panquitch but really it was located in the middle of nowhere USA. The house was backed up to a mountain ridge and off the front deck all you saw was miles of open landscape. At sunset hundreds of hummingbirds flocked to the deck to feed from the 10-15 feeders that were lovingly placed there. We all sat on the deck in our rocking chairs watching the sunset and the birds floating as they got their fill.
The next day my sister and I played horse shoes and volley ball in the sand pit at the front of the house and then lounged around in the living room watching movies. That evening we again watched the feast of the humming birds. Then we feasted around a large built in fire pit in the back of the house. We gazed up at the stars in the expansive sky in awe, Las Vegas seriously lacks stars thanks to the city lights.
I would return to "Margaritaville" two years later for a Highschool graduation party with some of my closest friends where we would party all night long and lounge all day. Enjoying the same pleasures of this relaxing home.
