The Duomo and old town

Woke up quite late, and by the time everyone got fresh and ready to go out it was about 14:00 already *sigh*... women.. why do they take sooo long to get ready?! We basically sped our way through town right to the Duomo, which I believe is "the" must see in Firenze. It is impressive ofcourse the facade is fantastic and the dome (cupola) is pretty huge. The interior is as banal as the facade is interesting. Although the interesting part was walking 414 steps up to the top of the terrace in the tower next to the Duomo. The view up there is amazing and so was the coool breeze that day.
