Good morning Firenze!

I took the EuroNight liner from Zurich at around 21:30... and reached early morning around 7:00 am at Firenze Campo di Marte. Took the train to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station and waited about 20 mins for GB to come pick me up. Poor girl had to wake up early after a laaate night farewell party the previous night. Oh well.. she said come, so I went!! only her fault that she invited a brute like me haha! We had a morning cafe at one of the cafe's just walking through town towards her apartment. Freshened up and had a nap at the apartment. The weather was pretty crappy in the morning, rainy and cloudy. But by noon it had cleared up a bit. So we headed to Lucca to meet up with her friend. The regionale train was damn slow, stopped at random places for a bunch of time slowing us down.

Rest of they day was just chilling in Lucca with GB and her friend Joao P. Walked through town, had nice pizza for a late lunch and a cafe in the evening before heading back. It was raining in Lucca also most of the day, and if only the weather had been better we could have gone to the beautiful beaches of Viareggio. Anyway we took a better regionale train back to Firenze SMN... I say better because it reached in a reasonable amount of time. I took a nap in the train. We just spent the late evening at the apartment chillin and havin beer and wine and watching funny videos.
