Inside Taipei 101 are all the usual suspects of world famous retailers, financial institutions and mostly office space. There are also a lot of small restaurants in what in the US we call a "food zoo". However, there is a difference between the food zoos in Taipei vs the ones in the US, the food is much better in Taipei! They are less like franchises and the people who work there are less likely to be high school students but more mature people. They would call out to invite you in as you walk by. .
On weekend nights, the building is lit up with more colorful lights. Today it was purple. My friend dropped me off at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sun's Memorial building not too far away, so I can take photos of the Taipei 101. It drizzled for a little while. There were many people enjoying the evening in the open space and park around the memorial building, jogging, walking, evan a group dance class. There was only one other photographer there taking pictures of Taipei 101 when I was there.
