LA....

So we got dropped off at Burbank Airport in LA, and picked up a rental car. After about an hour and a half of headaches at Avis due to my dodgy replacement credit card, we finally picked up a rental car.... a 'quirky' little Mitsubishi Eclipse.... what can only be described as a fake sports car c/w Sunroof and Subwoofer.

...anyway, we attempted to go to the Getty Museum, but our lack of preparation bit us. It was closed, so we diverted to Santa Monica Pier, where we hired some bikes and rode down to venice... enjoying the show along the way. Never have I seen so many tattoo parlors in one spot! We tried to visit Hollywood on the way home, but quickly became flustered when we couldn't find an easy car park. Besides we were a little overwhelmed with the amount of people out and about.... so we headed up to Griffith Park for a walk...great day.
