Halifax to Vancouver on a budget with no time limit...and only my trusty 'penguin of death' mug for company.

Bicycle Race

It was a week Sunday after I had landed, K had signed us all up for the becel cycle ride:

Becel Ride for Heart

They close one of the main freeways (gosh I sound so Canadian when I say that) through the city to cars and open it instead for cycles and skaters. It was a really early start, but it was very cool cycling down the freeway with 12,000 other people (7). We only did the 25km run, but I bought some SPDs especially:

Shimano PD-M324

Then we went to a classic car show in the afternoon! I was very good and only put down-payments on three cars: a '67 Austin Healy 3000, a frog-eye Sprite and a 1972 MGB Roadster.
