This is the most famous cathedral in southern england. See this one and you neednt see any other. Worth the trip and time.

Pilgrimage to Canterbury.

If you are living in/ around London and have a car then this can be a day trip for you. From London it takes around 1.5 to 2 hours drive with medium traffic. Since this is all about seeing the cathedral the season shouldnt really matter.

The castle is absolutely magnifique! It has been well-organized too. You need about 2-3 hours to see the entire castle. On a saturday, the town of canterbury is also completely fun. Add another 1-2 hours to see the town.

More photos.
