Ruka Snowboarding trip Jan '08

Stayed here on my week holiday. Great location in the centre of Ruka town. Tourist office shops, doctors, ski rental bars and restaurants all just outside the front door. This doesnt mean that its in a bad location if you worried about the noise or travelling with kids and worried about the location of the bars because this isn't like normal ski resorts in the Alps where there is loud euro-pop blasting into the early hours.

The room i had looked onto the ski slopes which was a nice sight to wake up to even if it was still dark at 10am !!
