The LA Core crew minus 1 (Rob) plus 1 (Matt)!
So tonight Nhi picked up Matt for his LA part 2 (or is it 3??) trip. He flew all the way out here to go camping with Nhi and is also scoping out the place to see if he wants to move here for a bit. We have quite the itinerary planned out since we all know Matt a little better. I think it's going to be a pretty fun couple of weeks - so look out for pictures!
Tonight we started at an AWESOME French restaurant for dinner. I'm starting to wonder if all these restaurants I go to with my LA crew are awesome or if it's just the company influencing my mood.
Joy and Tracy
I love my TBs so much that I will drop ANYTHING (including my mom's return from 4 months in Taiwan) to hang out with them. Bad priorities, ah well!
The food was awesome tonight. Matt was miserable from his plane ride. Joy was just hit on by Adam Sandler. Nhi just got a new camera and was going a little crazy with the settings and modes. I was miserable and red from being ill and allergic to people. Tracy surprised Matt with some cookies from Hawaii!
More hijiinks of course including Matt proclaiming us all racist for calling him white, us inspecting Matt's hairline to see if he would go bald in his old age, Joy teaching us a new cocktail napkin joke to die for - complete with an innocent little smile at the end, and everyone learning macro mode on their camera and taking pictures of the blackberry "nipple" on our desserts and oohing and aahing at the clarity! =)
At the end of dinner, we kind of stuck Matt with the bill. =) Well not all of it, he paid for Joy's stuff as well as all our desserts - THANKS MATT!! =)
