Teaching English on Koh Phangan, hopefully :p

On the way there

Emirates are great. I love Emirates. Friendly staff, enough room for long haul flights, and good entertainment. But I don't love Emirates for 16 hours straight :p Newcastle to Bangkok via Dubai. The first leg was ok, but the second dragged soooo much. But one good thing came out of it! I had a 3 hour wait in Dubai International. Once I'd got into the departures area, someone passed me with their missus to go into the British Airways lounge, and I thought I recognised him. A few seconds later I realised it was Fulham's Moritz Volz. When they left the lounge and went to their gate (1.55am BA flight from gate 18 to London Heathrow), I went over.

"Excuse me, are you Moritz Volz?"

"...yes i am"

"I just wanted to say thanks because you signed my programme after the middlesbrough game" (how pathetic and starstruck can I get :p)

"No problem"

I shook his hand then thought it was best to let them board their plane :$

But meeting a Fulham player was so cool, it cheered me up until the next flight, which just bored me :p
