home sweet home!

Finally arrived in Köln

My colleague jumps the first shuttle bus - I get the second - when I get to the baggage carousel - I cant see him anywhere -where did he go!?

Gone - ohhh ok - well I have to go to the office to get my car - of course - all the funny jokes now about "us" being away - ahhmmmmmm I dont think so - if only they knew what we (no ... I!) had been through!

Being in the office I had to call my colleague to find where he went - he told me his mum had called and that a taxi was outside and that the pasta was cooking ... so he left quickly - he says sorry that he didnt get time to say good bye due to the taxi waiting !

So whatever....... here ended my vacation ....

now I really needed one to get over this......

Amazingly my colleague and I are still talking - I found later this was his first trip away on his own - BUT we laugh at it now .

I guess this all sounds terrible but we did have some fun too - or maybe someone will take that the wrong way too :-)
