Snorkeling Day Trip

On our second day we headed to the Main Terminal entrance of the Marina. Even if you stay in Marina Vallarta, to catch boats for day trips you still have to go to the main terminal!!! Terminal entrance fee costs 15 pesos/person or $1.50. You can take the bus or a taxi to the terminal.
We boarded our boat and it was cloudy...not the best snorkeling weather. Also, the water at this time of year in PV is pretty murky. We weren't expecting much. At least our crew was fun! Our boat ride took us past downtown PV and farther south to Majahuitas. This was our snorkeling spot. We didn't see anything. We got back on the boat and had lunch, and the crew served us drinks. We took the boat a little farther south to Yelapa.
After a couple of hours we took the boat back up to the marina. We enjoyed drinks and entertainment from our crew. They also had some of us dance with them. Dancing on a catamaran is not easy!
After we arrived back at our hotel, we decided to make our first trip into downtown. We took the bus. It was around 50 cents. We walked down the Malecon (board walk). It is very charming in PV. We ended up eating on the beach. We also got to see the sunsent. Gorgeous!
