We flew on US Airways from Omaha to Phoenix. We didn't have much of a layover...enough to get our documents checked and board our next flight. We were in PV two hours later. The customs process was simple. The hard part was getting through all of the timeshare garbage. We had been warned though by the tripadvisor forums.
We had too much luggage to haul over the bridge, so we just settled for the higher fare taxi. We were at our hotel in 5 minutes. We were able to check in early. It was only about 2 pm so we headed straight to the pool for some sun. We had a bite to eat and had our first Mexican drink. We also stopped by Oxxo to pick up a cooler and some beer later that afternoon.
For dinner we headed to Victor's in the Marina. This quickly became a favorite stop of ours! After dinner we headed to the hotel, which had a nice sports bar to see if we could catch the Yankees game. It was Joba Chamberlain's first start. He went to Nebraska...where we are from. Unfortunately he had already been pulled from the game!
