Europe 2006 Trip

Frankfurt Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

After finishing grad school, I took a month and a half to tour Europe, something I'd never done before. I'll try and just describe my most exciting moments in each country...

6 hours in Frankfurt

With a six hour layover I ventured out into the city of Frankfurt taking the orderly and timely German train system into the city.  Wandering through the center of town, the place was obviously trapped in the middle of World Cup fever.  Suddlenly I found myself in a square filled with kids at some kind of college fair.  The highlight was seeing everyone try their best at a giant foosball machine where people were strapped to polls on a small soccer field.  They couldn't move forward or backwards, only side to side, and when they did so, their teammates had to move with them.  Check out the picture.
