Hello Everyone! Things are going well here, although I have food poisoning! Boo! I was supposed to work a double shift yesterday but my manager sent me home because I looked so bad. I cannot eat anything without my stomach turning! Yikes!
Fourth of July-
Celebrating Fourth of July here in
Towards the end of the night I took a flag off the boat and took it home with me! I could not go back to my hostel without a flag to wave around for the night! The hostel I have been staying at has a bar/club called Belushi’s inside. It was decorated for the occasion with flags all over the place. It was interesting because at my hostel people from all around the world stay there. Surprisingly, no comments were made and everyone was having a great time! People from other countries, and even Americans were taking pictures with me because I had the flag tied around my waist because it was impossible to find an American flag in this country…or you could find one but it might be upside down! L If I remember correctly I was the only one with the flag all night! The next morning, my Canadian friend Brandon handed me an American flag to keep (that’s two now).
