yummy hawaiian shaved ice
I went to the Asian Street Festival with my sister and friend Tessa, then later was joined by Alma. We had a great time. We saw pretty great and creative things sold by local random vendors. There were also talented artists/groups that performed. An awesome rock/alternative group Calisus, one of my favorite local reggae bands, Native Elements, and APL from the Black Eyed Peas, and many more performed. There were 2 stages. Everytime I passed by stage 2 the performers were in the middle of their sets and I didn't really know who was up. I enjoyed my tasty hawaiian bbq, hawaiian shaved ice, and free full throttle they were passing out as we were passing by.
I was touched by the all the people that came out to support the cause, and make the Asian Street Festival a big hit this year. I saw, I heard and I felt the love. Can't wait for the next one =)
