Mel is flat out THE SHITZ... = )
Well everything started out just wonderful... the sun was shining and it was making of a beautiful day. Then I recieved a phone call from one of my employee about some make believe story of how he couldn't come to work today... "great! now i gotta go to work"... so i then get up and get ready. My plans of driving off to LA were put on hold for a bit.. which totally sucks cuz now that i am late a day for the whole meet-up i get to be a day and a half late. so I wonder if it is even worth going, since i won't arrive till 5 or 6pm. I ponder this all day, then i get texts my Nyl and Erin wondering when i will be leaving and such. So i was thinking, "dude, just do it". Then 1pm comes, I HAPPILY clock out and head for my car, (I already had everything packed, so technically I already had my mind make up.

) I then type up some mapquest directions and head for the I-10... seemed so easily, my favorite song was playing on the radio... seemed like such a good omen. Everything was going fine, passing Blythe... Palm Springs... (those tall windmills I see in the movies... = ) then came the hard part of getting into LA... me being me, i thought it was staying on the I - 10, but Mapquest had other ideas, so there I was, being a true tourist - one eye/hand on the map and the others on the road. So make things easy, I went east when I should of went west and north when I should of went south. I just forgot how big LA really was. So after 3 hours delay I FINALLY made it to the Marriot... (rival hotel BY THE WAY!!!).

First one I see is the ERIN... totally all smiles and such a warm welcome. She introduced me to all of you wonderful people, and wow it was surreal to see everyone that i usually only see pictures of. I had a blast, even though it seemed like the party was winding down when i got there. No prob, thats what you get for being/getting lost. After having to live down the whole "getting lost" fiasco, i was able to just relax and take it all in. I mean I ACTUALLY MADE IT! I hear rumors about how crazy I am to come just for the meet-up... me personally, why not? Good times with good people? I couldn't ask for more! It being my first time, I wish I could of been more intoxicated but I had to hold back and BE STRONG.

There will be plenty more times for that, but making a good impression was all I was concetrating on (but I FAILED MISERABLY!!) lol. Finally we were able to get inside some club, but it was really just the center of the hotel/outside. It was cool to a certain pointe, but not my cup of tea. Mad props of having the NFL agents party there, now only if someone could of swung of getting me a card. I feel that I could of be a solid 3rd man backup. Easily making 1 million dollars a year! = ) - but that is probably me and my wishful thinking! having driven a couple more hours than anticipated i was growing tired and like i said more and more people were leaving, so i thought i would join the habbit. Now after finding my car I had to now find the hotel I was staying at... = ( an HOUR later i finally found out where I was and where i needed to be, so many good times happened and definately an experience i would not soon forget! I met some incredible people that I wish I had more time to talk to, and I really enjoyed my time with them! Such party people and too many memories that I shall keep with me until the next meet where I can make new ones.... so thanks for popping my TB Meet-Up Cherry.. and I can't wait to do the next one... = )
