What do you get when you put a beachhouse, lots of food, a bunch of energetic teens and kids, a packed programme of activities and some youth leaders together? Carnival Camp!!!

Smile Again....and boy were there smiles!

All stripes and smiles :)

As the maxis drove off and I followed in my car, we knew we were in for a great time.  I, along with the other youth leaders from my church, was already a bit tired from weeks of long nights of planning, networking and praying. But the adrenalin was flowing as we were eager for the planned activities to materialize into lasting memories among the youth.

After the two+ hour drive we arrived at the beachhouse that our group of 40 would call home for the next 4 days.  This year, the group was comprised of particularly children and young teens, so we stacked up on lots of enegry drinks.  Somehow, kids that age can make a 27 year old feel like she hadnt exercised in years. How I dont know. lol  But I know at 10pm I was sleepy from the 2-hour drive abut they were just getting started.......

work in progress. ;)
