Leaving Madrid

Today's my last day in Madrid. I will be meeting my Spanish friend, David, again. We're heading to the park because even though I told him I had been to the park with Henri two days ago, I never saw any lake (we probably didn't walk further in) and David said "are you sure you went to the park?!" hahahah.

Madrid's been great so far. Before i came to Spain, everyone kept telling me not to spend too much time here because "there is nothing much in Madrid". Well i see where they're coming from but a place is not all about the major things and the touristy sights. it's about its life and its people. I've had my fair share of walking alone for hours in Madrid, exploring the little corners of the city and walking to the fringe of the city, entering the shops and talking to the people.. and i must say, i love this place :)

Anyways, in less than 24 hours, i would be in LIVERPOOL!
