The Beautiful and Mysterious Lake Matano

It was our last day in Sorowako. The teachers from SMP YPS took Yamin and me to the lake. We used a raft to enjoy the scenery. The raft was built from 2 wooden boats. The boats were connected with a kind of construction so the passengers could sit or stand on it. One raft could take around 20 passengers.
I enjoyed the scenery. It was very beautiful. Since, it was still morning, so it was not too hot. I decided to sit at the front. I felt the air... it was so fresh and refreshing. I can't say much about the beauty of the lake... But, I can say one thing, "You have to be there!"
We stopped at the other side of the lake. In order to reach the land we had to jump to the lake and wet our legs and jeans. We played in the end of a river closed to our stop. The water was very cold. It was because the water was from the mountain. Rahman, one of the teachers explored somewhere and found a wild orchid. It was stuck on a dead branch.
When we felt enough, we went back to Sorowako.
In my opinion, Lake Matano is a very beautiful lake. Compare to Lake Toba, for me Lake Matano is more beautiful. Since I went there for working, so I didn't have much time to explore the lake. I heard that we can do many things, such as jetskiing, diving, windsurfing, fishing, swimming, and barbequeing on a raft. Or just relaxing on a raft and enjoying the scenery, just what I did with the teachers of SMP YPS.
Bye bye Lake Matano... I wish I can visit you again...
