Casablanca: The Ultimate Moroccan Experience!

For my 17th birthday I asked to go to Casablanca in Wilmington, Delaware. I have heard nothing but good things about this place and it was indeed nothing short of amazing! From the outside, one would think this restraint will be a complete disappointment, even I thought so. However, upon entrance you are immediately engulfed in traditional Moroccan scenery. Intricate, colorful rugs fill the walls and fabulous architecture supports the building. You are warmly greeted by native servers dressed in traditional Moroccan attire. First, they explain the 7 course meal to you and then begin by washing your hands in warm, rose scented water and provide a glass of water to you. Both of these are signs of hospitality in Morocco if I remember correctly. Everything is eaten with your hands, unless you would like to cheat and use pita bread or ask for an eating utensil. Who could forget the amazing belly dancers featured on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays! Their outfits are beautiful and their moves graceful. They even invited me to dance and I think were a little shocked I know what I was doing =). Overall, the whole place was incredible! If you're ever in Wilmington I highly recommend you go!
